Dentures

Regain Your Confidence

Are your dentures damaging your smile?

Dentures can restore a natural, more youthful appearance and give you back the ability to eat and speak, yet if it’s been a few years since your last fitting, you may be experiencing one or many of the smile-stopping problems caused by loose wobbling dentures.

Luckily, you don’t have to grin and bear it. Here’s how we can help…

  • Replace loose, wobbling dentures that interfere with your ability to speak, eat, and socialize. Ill-fitting dentures can cause poor digestion and dietary problems as well as cause irritated and soft gums that are more prone to infections.
  • Rejuvenate your smile by replacing unsightly yellow-stained dentures with surfaces damaged by wear and tear, clenching, and grinding that leave your smile looking worn down – and you looking worn out. Bite issues can create headaches, neck, and jawjoint pain.
  • Restore a younger-looking smile by replacing lost volume and support in your lip and mid-facial areas, diminishing lines, telltale sagging, and a sunken “toothless” appearance.
Advanced materials and fitting techniques for traditional dentures along with revolutionary implant-attached dentures can give you back stability, let you enjoy food again, and keep your mouth healthy and your smile appealing!

One-Stop Denture Care

Ensuring fit and fixing any damages

When you’ve lost many or all of your teeth, dentures are a popular way to restore your smile. However, no matter how high-quality these appliances are, they will require relines or repairs over time.

Dentures require regular relines to ensure they are always fitting properly for optimal function and aesthetics. If you’ve lost even one tooth, your mouth starts changing. Jawbones can recede and gums can shrink, causing gaps between them and your denture appliances. These gaps create lots of places to trap food and leave unprotected gums vulnerable to irritation. To avoid situations like this, we recommend an assessment at least once a year to ensure proper fit.

As careful as you may be with your dentures … damage can happen and will need repaired. Cracks in the appliance, teeth that have come dislodged, or broken clasps require fixing before they become worse.

Relines, repairs, or a whole denture appliance can all be coordinated at our convenient office location. Call today! We’d love to help you get the most out of your dentures.

Smile Confidently with Dental Implants

Comfort and confidence again

Would you like to speak or bite into an apple knowing your denture won’t slip? How about smiling with absolute confidence or enjoying the simple pleasure of going to bed without removing your denture? Are you missing one or more teeth? Then dental implants – artificial substitutions for natural tooth roots to which replacement teeth can be attached – may be right for you.

It’s hard to imagine, but 69% of North Americans aged 35-44 have had at least one tooth removed every year as a result of infection, gum disease, or accidents. When you lose teeth, several problems can occur. The remaining teeth can shift, rotate and become crooked. This can leave you with a bad bite and unsightly spaces, making it painful to chew food. Dental implants replace the form and function of missing teeth , whether it is one tooth or a whole jaw. They can be used to anchor dentures to prevent soreness and clicking noises when you talk, or as replacements for partial dentures and bridgework.

We can help you to decide if implants are the right solution for you. We’ll review your medical history, examine your oral tissues and take impressions and x-rays. If your dental evaluation shows that you are a good candidate for the implant procedure, you can look forward to a lifetime of smiling with comfort and confidence again.
